Pensacola to Panama City

Our BFF taxied us from our dirt house in Navarre to our boat in Pensacola.
We enjoyed a delightful alfresco seafood meal together at Nick's Boat House .. and farewell hugs!

When we arrived at Spiritus, we discovered a heron trying to hitch a boat ride to south Florida!

October 31st sunrise finds Spiritus and crew departing her homeport at Bayou Grande Marina.

Dozens of playful dolphin "trick-or-treated" in Spiritus' wake as we cruised east!

Spiritus passes under the Navarre Bridge as her crew blows farewell kisses to their dirt-house friends!

Spiritus docks for 2 nights at the Ft Walton Beach Landing.
It has a lovely waterfront park featuring weekly events: concerts, art festivals, weddings, firework displays, & galas.

These ducks, alongside Spiritus, were in the Halloween spirit as they "bobbed for apples"!

Our sweet neighbors came by Spiritus to see us (really the boat!)  and watch the Auburn - Ole Miss game.

We walked to Luxe Sports Bar in downtown Ft Walton for a wonderful dinner and nail-biting game.

Auburn 35, Ole Miss 31 ... oh-so-proud to fly our Auburn burgee!!  WAR EAGLE!!

The temps are dropping quickly so we are heading south because Eddy refuses to wear long pants!

Absolutely clear blue skies and calm winds as we cruised from Ft Walton to Panama City.

Love this serene, tranquil anchorage at Smack Bayou, Panama City.  The dolphin were our only visitors!

Sweetest Dreams!
