Spiritus was happy to be on the move again after her one-month rest in Kingston.
At every bend, the Hudson River Valley just kept getting more and more beautiful.
Another one of the many lighthouses on the Hudson.
Ruins of a late 1800's kiln along the Hudson River.
Unbelievably, there was no place to stop as we cruised by Albany, the capitol of New York state.
Soon after pulling alongside the dock in Troy, New York, this sign of good fortune appeared!

Woody & Lucy pose with us during docktails on "the barge" before going out for an evening meal.
Earlier in the day, Eddy & Woody "played" in the engine room of Spiritus.
Our reward for a job "well done"!

. . . . . . . and the city has chosen him to be their symbol of civic pride!
A unique presentation for shrimp cocktail at one evening's gathering on "the barge" . . . . .
. . . . . . . as we share dinner with 4 new-found boater friends!
Before departing Troy, we lowered the mast on Spiritus. This will allow her to pass under some of the bridges further north on the Hudson, as well as some bridges along the Erie Canal.
Next stop, the Erie Canal Welcome Center in the town of Waterford, New York!
