Great Loop #2 Begins...Pensacola to Panama City

We had the most AMAZING year cruising America's Great Loop in 2012-13.
We loved it so much we decided to set sail for ROUND #2!!!

The First Mate waves goodbye to Bayou Grande Marina where Spiritus has been docked since May.

Anchored the first night at our favorite anchorage off of Pensacola Beach.
We're toasting to our new life on the water!

Next stop ... Fort Walton Beach Landing where our love for boating began as teenagers.
Can you find our Spiritus docked behind this beautiful tree?

Our first "boat guest" was our dear Mama Sally who lives very close by.
We dined, wined, hugged, and shared lots of stories.

We also enjoyed "Bon Voyage" visits from our dear Navarre neighbors and our forever friends.

Look who escorted us across Choctawhatchee Bay!

Spiritus and crew LOVE Bluewater Bay Marina!  She has a front row seat for a stunning sunset.

The "Grand Canyon" connecting Choctaw Bay to West Bay is a peaceful, relaxing cruise.

We anchored in a quiet bayou across from downtown Panama City.
The Captain is watching an eagle make a landing in a nearby tree!

Chef Eddy is grilling dinner.  No, it's not the eagle he just saw!!

As the sun sets, we give thanks for another blessed day.
