Pensacola to Ft Walton Beach 2016

Departed Bayou Grande Marina on a beautiful Sunday morning,
October 30, 2016.

The anchor is set at Big Sabine and the beer has been chillin' on ice!

Even though it's almost November, the water is perfect for swimming.

A picture of the first sunrise on our 2016 Winter Cruise . . . . .
and most likely the last sunRISE picture Linda takes this year!

It's Halloween day and we're seeing our first Trick-or-Treaters!

A last look at our Navarre Bridge and "dirt house" neighborhood.

Just because we're boaters doesn't mean we can't still look pretty!
Linda's Nail Salon is open!

Another glorious sunset while at anchor behind Spectre Island.

Spiritus at the docks of the Fort Walton Beach Landing.

This lucky "birthday boy" was treated to a delicious Filipino feast after being picked up by his Mom.
Even after stuffing ourselves with lumpia, pancit, and fried rice,
no one could refuse a taste of this marvelous ice cream cake!

Our wonderful friends Merle, Dorothy, Lovie, and Tammie joined us at Mom's
for an early birthday celebration.

  1. Take your time getting here. New ice cream stores not open yet. One downtown Dunedin in new residential high-rise (3 stories) and one on Curlew & Alt 19, by Marker 1.
