Linda found a new Ice Cream Shop and YUM!!!
Ya gotta' love December in Dunedin because it's never too cold for ice cream.
And the weather also cooperates for bike-rides which allow for extra ice-cream eating!
We had a glorious day for another 19 mile bike ride into Tarpon Springs to enjoy the Christmas decorations with brother-in-law & sister, Fraser & Mary.
And we definitely fit in this chair more comfortably BEFORE we indulged in our Greek meal.
We never tire of walking along the shoreline and savoring the beautiful Dunedin sunsets.
What fun having special friends, Jeff and Lolly, drive to our marina from Ft Myers to play with us!
Dunedin in December is impossible without a Christmas parade complete with bagpipes . . . .
. . . . and beads . . . .
. . . . and snow . . . . lots of virtual snow!
Visiting the beautiful, historic Vinnoy Hotel was a special bonus when we explored St. Petersburg with our brother-in-law & sister.
The ornate, impressive Chihuly glass chandelier in the ballroom measures 9 feet in length!
The rainbow, seen on the drive from the Las Vegas airport to her parent's home, provided peace and comfort at the passing of her dear daddy this morning.
The "Celebration of Life" memorial service was a beautiful tribute to a well-lived, much-loved man.
There wasn't a dry eye when the honor guard presented mom with the flag and played "Taps".
Dad would have been proud to hear the heart-warming stories we shared and the Pennington kids singing his special song, "I'll Never Find Another You", dedicated to his bride of 67 years.
It was definitely a different kind of Christmas. But we were surrounded by love and took comfort in knowing Dad was resting at peace in the Promised Land.
Dad left a heart print in all of our lives and he'll live in our memories forever.
Dad loved to look for hummingbirds at his feeder. This hummer appeared and has returned every day since dad passed.
